Funding in Indian startups this week (11 Feb-16 Feb)

This week only 7 Indian startups received funding of about $122 million. Among them, OYO raised the highest funding of about $100 million followed by Smallcase, which raised $8 million.

List of disclosed funding deals this week

OYO: After raising $800 million from Softbank, Budget hotel chain OYO has raked in another $100 million round led by Chinese ride-hailing giant Didi Chuxing.

Smallcase: Fintech startup Smallcase has picked up $8 million in a Series A round led by Sequoia India. Blume Ventures, Beenext Ventures, Straddle Capital, DSP Adiko and WEH Ventures also participated in the round.

Open Financial: Neo banking startup Open Financial Technologies has raised about $5 million in its Series A round led by Beenext Ventures,  a venture capital firm investing in startups from India, Southeast Asia, Japan, and the USA.

OpenApp: Smart lock app OpenApp has picked up $1.3 million in its pre-Series A round led by Unicorn India Ventures and KARMSEVAN Fund. Existing investors Axilor Ventures and Vembu also participated in the round.

Fyle: Expense management startup Fyle has scooped up over $4 million in its Series A round led by Tiger Global.  The Bengaluru-based startup also saw the participation of existing investors – Pravega Ventures and Beenext in this round.

Officepulse:  e-procurement solution for businesses Officepulse has raised $0.5 million in equity and venture debt funding from a slew of strategic investors in India and the US.

Dunzo: Tasks management app Dunzo has raised $3.1 million in its Series C funding round from early-stage venture capital firm Blume Ventures and other investors.
