This week 20 Indian startups raised funding, of which 19 received a total sum of about $278 million. Among them, Cars24 raised the highest funding of $100 million followed by MyGate, which raised $56 million.

Meanwhile, funding for 1 of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.

Below is the summary of deals closed this week:

True Balance: Digital payments and lending firm True Balance has raised $23 million in a Series C funding round from Korean investors including NH Investment & Securities, IMM Investment, D3 Jubilee Partners, SB Partners, HB Investment, and existing investor Shinhan Capital.

Bewakoof: Online focused direct to consumer brand, Bewakoof.com has raked in $11.2 million in a funding round led by Investcorp. Following the transaction, the Bahrain-based firm will have 14% equity and a board seat in Bewakoof.

BulBul: Live streaming commerce app BulBul has raised $15 million in total from Sequoia India, Surge and Leo Capital. Beijing-based alternative asset management firm CDH Investments has come as a new investor on board.

CleverTap: B2B SaaS platform, CleverTap has raised $35 million Series C round led by existing investors, Sequoia India and Tiger Global Management.

UrbanPiper: Tiger Global has made joint investment with Sequoia Capital in a software product firm. The duo announced to invest $7.5 million in restaurant focused SaaS company UrbanPiper.

MyGate: Bengaluru-based apartment security solution provider, MyGate has raked in $56 million in its Series B round of funding led by Tiger Global and Tencent. Existing investor Prime Venture Partners also participated in the financing round.

Cars24: Used cars buying platform Cars24 has scored $100 million worth Series D round led by Unbound and KCK Global. Both the investors have invested $25 million each in the Gurugram-based firm. Moore Strategic Ventures, existing investors, including Sequoia Capital,partners of DST Global, and the Agnelli Family also participated.

Bijak: B2B agritech platform, Bijak, has raised $2.5 million from Surge Venture II and Omidyar Network. Surge invested Rs 10.7 crore while the rest came from Omidyar.

Mall91: Social commerce startup Mall91 has raised $7.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Go Ventures. Existing investors-Beenext, Kalaari Capital, and AngelList India also participated.

Capital Float: Digital lending firm Capital Float has raised $1.4 million in debt capital by issuing Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs).

White Owl Brewery: Mumbai-based White Owl Brewery has raised $5.6 million in its second funding round led by existing investor IIFL India Private Equity Fund, at a valuation of around Rs 200 crore.

RupeeRedee: Digital lending platform RupeeRedee has raised $6 million in a funding round from its Russian-based parent entity- Digital Finance International.

Legalkart: Legaltech startup Legalkart has raised $0.5 million in a seed funding round from a bunch of angel investors including Pranav Jivrajaka, Mitesh Shah, Pallav Singh, and Sudarshan Gangrade, among others.

Bare Anatomy: Personalised data-driven haircare startup Bare Anatomy has raised $0.5 million in a seed funding round from Sauce.vc.

WEGoT: Internet of things (IoT)-based water management startup WEGoT has raised $2 million in a seed funding round led by Kumar Vembu, Shyam Shekar, and Brigade Enterprises.

SOAL: School of Accelerated Learning (SOAL) has raised $0.3 million in its first funding round led by Astarc Ventures. Srinivas Kollipara, founder T-Hub, Ramki Gaddipatti, founder and CTO Zeta, and Krishnan Menon, founder BeeCash also participated.

InCred: Consumer and SME focused lender InCred has issued secured Non-Convertible-Debentures (NCDs) worth $2 million. from Aditya Jain, Saumya Mittal, and Fairmount Healthcare, and others.

Smytten: online discovery platform for premium products Smytten, has raised $1.5 million from investment firm Roots Ventures.

Remedico: Online dermatology solutions provider, Remedico, has raised $0.5 million in a seed funding round from a clutch of investors including Venture Catalysts.

Undisclosed deals this week

Super Smelly did not disclose its financial details on funding.
