Go Ventures leads $7.5 Mn round in social commerce startup Mall91

Social commerce startup Mall91 has raised $7.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Go Ventures. Existing investors-Beenext, Kalaari Capital, and AngelList India also participated. The company would deploy the funds to expand its business further and bolster its supply chain capabilities across nations.

Launched in 2018, Mall91 is a vernacular social commerce platform which combines live videos-based shopping and local language voice recognition-based catalogue. Presently, it claims to be present in 2000 tier-II, tier III and tier IV towns in India. (Source)
