Funding in Indian startups this week (17 June-22 June)

This week 17 Indian startups received funding of about $60 million. Among them, Druva raised the highest funding of about $382 million followed by Razorpay, which raised about $75 million.

Below is the summary of deals closed this week:

Druva: Cloud data protection and management startup Druva has raised $130 million from US-based hedge fund Viking Global Investors, Neuberger Berman, and Atreides Management.

Droom: Automobile marketplace Droom has received $10 million from the Singapore-based holding entity. The infusion from the offshore entity has come at a time when the Gurugram-based firm has been scouting for a Series F round.

Postman: API development environment startup Postman has raised $50 million in a Series B round led by Valley-headquartered CRV with participation from existing investor Nexus Venture Partners.

Razorpay: Digital payments solution provider Razorpay has bagged $75 million in Series C round led by US-based venture capital firm Ribbit Capital and Sequoia India. Existing backers Tiger Global Management and Y Combinator’s Continuity Fund also participated in the round.

Bounce: Chiratae Ventures, Accel India, Sequoia India and Omidyar Network and several others are pouring over $72 million worth Series C round in Bounce.

Active.AI: Fintech startup Active.Ai has raised $3 million from Spanish banking group Banco Sabadell in an extended Series A funding round.

Ninjacart: Bengaluru-based B2B agritech startup Ninjakart has raised $2.87 million in venture debt round from existing investor Trifecta Capital.

Zoomcar: Automaker Mahindra has put in $1.76 million debt fund in self-drive car rental platform Zoomcar.

Wysa: Conversational artificial intelligence bot made for improving mental health fitness, Wysa has secured about $2.1 million in pre-Series A round led by Pi Ventures along with participation from Kae Capital and few other investors.

Biryani By Kilo: Premium biryani chain and cloud kitchen brand Biryani By Kilo has raised $4.28 million in its Series A round led by IvyCap Ventures.

Dunzo: Hyperlocal delivery platform Dunzo has raised another small round of about $0.42 million from Moving Capital, a US-based an early-stage venture fund floated by former Uber executives — William Barnes and Josh Mohrer.

Finwego: Education finance company Finwego that addresses the credit needs of key stakeholders of a K-12 school – teachers, parents, and school management, has raised $1.5 million seed fund from SAIF Partners along with other HNIs and angels.

Vogo: Two-wheeler rental startup Vogo has secured capital from a clutch of angel investors. Former Myntra CEO Ananth Narayanan, Growth Story’s K Ganesh, Spark TV’s Srini Anumolu and SVG Media founder Manish Vij have invested  $1.1 million in the Bangalore-based firm.

Lendingkart: Venture debt fund Alteria Capital has made one of its largest investment of $11.42 million in digital lending platform Lendingkart.

SwitchOn: Industrial tech startup SwitchOn has raised $1 million in seed funding round led by piVentures along with participation from Axilor Ventures and several angels from The Chennai Angels.

Practo: Bengaluru-based healthtech platform Practo has raised $17.2 million from Trifecta Capital and other internal investors.

CapitalQuotient: Fintech startup CapitalQuotient has raised $0.6 million in a pre-Series A funding round from the family office of a high-net-worth individual (HNI).
