Education finance company Finwego that addresses the credit needs of key stakeholders of a K-12 school – teachers, parents, and school management, has raised $1.5 million seed fund from SAIF Partners along with other HNIs and angels.
The Harvard Innovation Labs incubated startup is currently operational in Tamil Nadu and will use this capital to strengthen its data infrastructure and expand operations. It has already on-boarded over 200 schools in the last 6 months and is planning to expand to 1,000 by the end of FY20. (Source: PR)
