Pioneer Ventures, an agri-focussed investor and accelerator has launched a $70 million equity fund to help out its current portfolio of 5 companies – Citrus International, Desai Fruits & Vegetables, FarmLink, Samaaru, and MilkLane. These companies work around multiple segments like agri, farmer credit, and agri-supply chain.
The targeted corpus of $70 million is to be raised and deployed in the portfolio in the next 2 years. The Limited Partners of the fund are European HNIs and family funds who have invested in these 5 startups. (Source)
