Todd Combs, one of Berkshire’s key fund managers and a potential Chief Investment Officer at the firm, is going to join Paytm’s board. Combs had led Berkshire’s $300 million investment round in the Alibaba-backed company. Along with Combs, Yao Michael, SVP, head of corporate finance at Alibaba group will also join Paytm’s board.
The Warren Buffet’s led has picked up a significant stake of 2.9% in Paytm through a primary subscription of shares. (Source)
