OneAssist Consumer Solutions, a consumer assistance and protection platform, has announced the appointment of Abhishek Maheshwari as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective September 1, 2025.
Maheshwari will drive the company’s business strategy, P&L delivery, and expansion into new categories and markets, while also scaling its use of AI-led solutions to enhance customer experience and service automation. He has also joined the company’s Board of Directors.
Founded in 2011 by Gagan Maini and Subrat Pani, OneAssist serves nearly 2 crore customers across 19,000 pin codes through partnerships with over 3,000 businesses. Its B2B2C model delivers protection and assistance services for devices, appliances, financial products, and lifestyle categories, supported by a network of 1,000 service providers.
Maheshwari brings over two decades of leadership experience in consumer businesses. He previously served as CEO of Aakash Educational Services, where he led digital transformation, and as Country Head of The Walt Disney Company India, where he scaled multiple business verticals. At Zomato, he played a key role in building Hyperpure and driving profitability in food delivery.
Commenting on his new role, Maheshwari said: “OneAssist has built a strong foundation and industry-defining capabilities since 2011. With robust partnerships and a wide customer base, our focus will be on innovating technology-driven solutions that bring convenience and peace of mind to millions of Indian households.”
Co-founders Maini and Pani said they will continue to remain actively involved in strategic growth initiatives, including M&A.
As per TheKredible, OneAssist’s operating revenue grew 22% to Rs 623 crore in the last fiscal year (FY25) from Rs 509 crore in FY24. It reported a net loss of Rs 11 crore in FY25, a 56% reduction from loss of Rs 25 crore in FY24.
