AI-led email client Faraday raised $0.2 million in a pre-seed funding round led by AJVC earlier this year, as the startup worked towards strengthening its team, advance product development, and initiate go-to-market efforts.
The capital has been deployed towards hiring, office setup, product development, and GTM execution, the company said in a statement.
Faraday offers an AI-led, distinctively unique email client built to transform how email experiences have traditionally been. It currently supports all Gmail and Google-based email accounts, for both personal and professional users. Outlook integration is set to roll out soon.
Faraday integrates securely and seamlessly with a user’s email account, post explicit consent. The product then provides a highly organized, contextually intelligent and prompt-free email experience, thereby greatly reducing cognitive overload while improving user productivity. Other features include superior thread resolution, better attachment handling, semantic search, group summarization and more.
The investment adds to AJVC’s recent activity in early-stage funding, particularly in software and technology-focused startups. Recently, AJVC led a Rs 1.5 crore pre-seed round in fashion-tech startup Iztri.
AJVC’s recent investments also include Jaagruk Bharat, a civic tech startup; GaadiMech.com, a car servicing platform; Nuyug, a jewellery brand focused on celebration wear; and Mithila Foods, an FMCG company working on Bihar-based food products.
