Serial entrepreneur and investor Aakash Anand, founder of Bellavita has announced his latest venture, Unikon.ai, a platform to foster meaningful connections for its users by monetising their time and knowledge.
Unikon.ai has also raised $2 million from entrepreneurs including Nikhil Kamath (Zerodha), Peyush Bansal (Lenskart), Vishesh Khurana (Shiprocket), Dholakia Ventures, Nitin Jain & Vasant Sridhar (OfBusiness), Gaurav Khatri (Noise). Influential figures like Tanmay Bhatt, Raj Shamani, Arjun Vaidya, Sharan Hegde (Finance with Sharan), Ganeshprasad (Thinkschool), Shlok Shrivastava (Techburner), and Rahul Malodia (Business Coach) also participated in the round.
The other two co-founders of Unikon.ai are Palash Arneja, serving as the chief operating officer, and Sumit Jha, the chief technology officer. While Arneja is a chartered accountant Jha is the former CTO of Zecpe which was acquired by Cashfree in 2023.
Unikon.ai has officially launched its new platform which enables users to connect with advisors or peers for practical, relatable, and genuine advice. As per the company, users can post queries for professional responses, host events such as webinars or workshops, and share their knowledge to earn income.
The platform allows users to set their own pricing and schedules for one-on-one sessions through chat, audio, or video calls.
Last year, former AngelList India’s CEO Utsav Somani launched community platform Offline. The firm also raised $2 million from co-founders of startups, unicorns, a clutch of micro venture capitals, and a few influencer-turned-investors.
