Enterprise skilling firm Disprz raises $30 Mn in Series C round

Enterprise skilling platform Disprz has raised $30 million in Series C funding round led by Lumos Capital and 360 ONE Asset. Existing investors Kae Capital, KOIS, and Dallas Venture Capital also participated in the round that constitutes primary and secondary transactions.

The startup has raised around $50 million in funding to date including an undisclosed sum in a bridge round from Silverneedle Ventures and others in January this year.

The fresh funds will be utilised for global expansion, product development, and investments into generative AI technologies, Disprz said in a press release. Additionally, it also aims to form strategic partnerships and make strategic acquisitions.

Eight-year-old Disprz helps organisations build a steady pipeline of the fully enabled workforce by accelerating job readiness, enabling skilling on the job, and facilitating career mobility. The company claims to serve nearly 350 organizations and 2.8 million users across India, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

Disprz serves enterprises like ICICI Bank, Amazon, Indian Oil, Bajaj Allianz, Ather Energy, HDFC Life, Starbucks, AIA, PETRONAS, Sharaf DG, Neom, Rivoli, Kotak Life Insurance, and others. 

According to the company, it also plans to partner with the broader learning and people-tech ecosystem, including HCM players, people reward platforms, learning content players, assessment players as well as global HR consulting companies.

In the enterprise skilling space, it competes with CUSMAT, Corporate Compass, and Centum Learning.

In FY22, Disprz recorded Rs 34.82 crore in operating revenue against Rs 19 crore loss. However, it currently claims to be growing at 80-110% and expects to maintain this momentum in the next two years and targets to achieve profitability in the next four to five quarters. The company is yet to file its audited financial numbers for FY23.
