Gan.ai, a generative artificial intelligence-based video creation platform, has raised $5.25 million in its seed funding round led by Surge, which is Sequoia Capital India’s rapid scale-up programme. Emergent Ventures and other angel investors participated in the round.
Gan.ai helps organizations enhance the video creation process and reach out to their audience effectively, by making personalized landing pages for customers and delivering customized videos via preferred communication platforms.
Brands such as IPL franchise Mumbai Indians and Swiggy record a video once, add dynamic keywords to a script, and have the platform generate millions of hyper-customised videos. The platform also integrates with Shopify, Calendly, Stripe, Salesforce and Hubspot for businesses to create shopping and payment experiences.
Founded in March 2021 by Suvrat Bhooshan, New Delhi-based Gan.ai was a part of Surge’s seventh cohort and handles clients such as Zomato, Mobile Premier League, Samsung, Vivo, and Bajaj Auto, among others.
Gan.ai claims that it services 40 clients in total, of which some 12 are in the US. According to the company, 90% of its revenue comes from India and 10% from the US.
