Zenskar, a flexible billing platform for SaaS startups, has raised $3.5 million in its seed round led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from Shine Capital, Basecamp Fund and Converge.
The proceeds will be used in engineering talent, ramp up product development and advance its go-to-market initiatives, Zenskar said in a press statement.
Founded by Apurv Bansal and Saurabh Agrawal, Zenskar offers a flexible billing platform that enables SaaS companies to handle complexities in pricing that include usage-based pricing, subscriptions, nuanced discounts, credits, custom currencies, prepaid, post-paid, ramp deals, etc.
New York and Bengaluru-based Zenskar integrates with the entire stack of a company, including CRM, CPQ and ERP.
According to Fintrackr’s data, 14 SaaS-based startups scooped up $171 million in August this year. Last month several early stage startups also raised funding which includes DINGG and UserStudy among others.
Early-stage venture capital firm StartupXseed Ventures had raised Rs 243 crore ($30.4 Mn) in its second fund to back SaaS and deep tech verticals.
