Funding in Indian startups this week (16 Mar-21 Mar)

This week 16 Indian startups raised funding, of which 15 received a total sum of about $960 million. Among them, Oyo raised the highest funding of about $807 million followed by Cure.fit, which raised $115 million.

Meanwhile, funding for 1 of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.

Below is the summary of deals closed this week

Cure.fit: Fitness startup Cure.fit has raised $115 million in a round led by Temasek. Existing investors Accel and Chiratae also participated.

Oyo: Online hospitality firm Oyo has raised $807 million as part of its $1.5 billion fundraise from SoftBank and RA Hospitality.

SmartCoin: Bengaluru-based micro-lending platform SmartCoin has secured $7 million in a fresh funding round led by LGT Lightstone Aspada.

Agnikul: Space tech startup Agnikul has raised $3.19 million in a pre-Series A round from Pi Ventures. The round also saw the participation from Hari Kumar, Artha Ventures, LetsVenture, Globevestor, and existing investor Speciale Invest.

CoverStack: Cloud governance technology startup, CoverStack has secured $8.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Naya Ventures along with strategic investors also participated.

Pitstop: Bengaluru-based doorstep car service startup Pitstop has secured $2.5 million in a Series A funding round led by TPG Growth backed- Group Landmark along with existing investors also participated.

Fintso: Fintech startup Fintso has secured $2.6 million from a marquee list of angel investors including Rajeev Juneja, Pratul Shroff, and Dilip Khandelwal.

ImStrong: Online and live video-streaming platform, ImStrong, that allows trainers and fitness enthusiasts to connect and engage in interactive online classes, has raised $0.4 million in a seed funding round led by Rainmatter.

ZunRoof: Home-tech startup ZunRoof has raised $3 million in a Series A funding round from the Godrej Investments office.

Univariety: Info Edge has invested $1.06 million in an education services startup Univariety.

Nimesa: Cloud-focused data protection software startup, Nimesa has raised $0.8 million from venture capital fund Ideaspring Capital.

CoreStack: Enterprise technology startup CoreStack has raised $8.5 million in its Series A round of funding led by Naya Ventures.

The Indus Valley: Healthy kictchen product-focused cookware brand The Indus Valley has raised $0.3 million from The Chennai Angels (TCA).

Design X: Modulor Capital had led a $0. 2 million seed round in Industrial IoT company Design X via its investment vehicle ThinkNext LLC.

Unbox Robotics: Early stage startup Unbox Robotics has received its first round of funding of $ 0.5 million led by CIIE.CO & Arali Ventures.

Undisclosed deals this week

Accounting app Khatabook did not disclose its financial details on funding.
