Funding in Indian startups this week (18 Nov-23 Nov)

This week 20 Indian startups raised funding, of which 14 received a total sum of about $146 million. Among them, Perfios raised the highest funding of $50 million followed by Grofers, which raised $20 million.

Meanwhile, funding for 6 of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.

Below is the summary of deals closed this week:

CasaOne: San-Francisco and Bengaluru-based furniture rental company CasaOne has scored $16 million in series B funding round led by Accel Partners.

WMall: Social commerce startup WMall is raising $9 million in its Series B round led by Chiratae Venture Partners (formerly IDG) and early-backer SAIF Partners.

Healthians: Online diagnostics service provider Healthians has secured $12 million in a Series B funding round led by Japan-based DG Incubation & DG Daiwa Ventures. Kotak Private Equity and Trifecta from India, Mistletoe and Tokio Marine from Singapore also participated in this latest investment round.

Grofers: Online grocery firm Grofers has issued one share warrant worth $20 million and an equity share priced at Rs 13.05 lakhs to BCCL.

Medikabazaar: Online B2B marketplace for medical equipment and supplies – Medikabazaar – has raised $15.7 million in its latest funding round led by existing investor HealthQuad, new investors- Ackermans & van Haaren, Rebright Partners, and Japan-based Toppan Printing Co.

myHQ: Co-working space startup myHQ has raised $1.5 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by India Quotient. RB Investments, Ashish Goenka, and existing investors – Anupam Mittal and Nitish Mittersian, among others, also participated.

CureFit: Bengaluru-headquartered fitness startup CureFit has raised $0.48 million in a Series D1 equity funding round from FPGA Family Foundation.

Svami: Non-alcoholic, aerated beverage brand, Svami has raised $1.05 million led by Rukam Capital Trust and Niren Shah, MD of Norwest Venture Partners India in his personal capacity. Ashish Chand’s family office Yukti Securities also participated in it.

OneLife: OnelifeNutriscience (OneLife) has raised $0.7 million in pre-series A funding round from a group of high net-worth individuals.

FSM: Furtados School of Music (FSM) has raised $2.8 million in funding from IAN Fund and DSG Consumer Partners.

Perfios: Bengaluru-based fintech software company Perfios has raised $50 million in its Series B round led by Warburg Pincus and Bessemer venture Partners.

DMA: Virtual e-commerce platform, Digital Mall of Asia (DMA), has raised $3 million in a funding round by real estate investor Satish Jain through his privately held Amour Infrastructure.

Onelife Nutriscience: Consumer healthcare brand Onelife Nutriscience has raised $0.69 million in a pre-Series A funding round.

TravelTriangle: Online marketplace for holiday packages, TravelTriangle, has raised $13 million in its Series D funding round from South Korea-based KB Global Platform fund and the Nandan Nilekani-led The Fundamentum Partnership Fund I.

Undisclosed deals this week

Stanza Living, EVI, Food n i, Quikkloan, Multibhashi, and Kaarva did not disclose their financial details on funding.
