This week 18 Indian startups raised funding, of which 16 received a total sum of about $500 million. Among them, Udaan raised the highest funding of $286

This week 18 Indian startups raised funding, of which 16 received a total sum of about $500 million. Among them, Udaan raised the highest funding of $286 million followed by NoBroker, which raised $50 million.

Meanwhile, funding for 2 of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.

Below is the summary of deals closed this week:

NoBroker: Brokerage free property search platform NoBroker has picked up $50 million Series D round from Tiger Global. The fresh round for the company has come just after four months of its previous financing round.

Greytip: Greytip Software Private Limited (GSPL) which operates HR Automation and Payroll Product, greytHR, has raised $4.8 million in a Series C funding round led by Info Edge.

Dunzo: Task management, bike taxi cum hyper-local delivery app Dunzo, has finally closed $45 million Series D round led by Lightbox VC. South Korea’s STIC Ventures, and US-based 3L Capital – have joined the round whereas Google also participated.

Udaan: After raising $300 million last month, Udaan’s parent Trustroot Internet has raised another tranche worth around $286.6 million led by Tencent in its ongoing Series D round.

CareStack: A cloud-based technology platform for the dental practice, CareStack, has raked in $28 million in Series B round led by Steadview Capital, and California-based dental plan system -Delta Dental.

Khatabook: Accounting and business record-keeping startup for small merchants and entrepreneurs, Khatabook, has raked in $25 million in a Series A round of funding from GGV Capital, Sequoia India, Tencent and Partners of DST Global.

LoanTap: Digital lending startup LoanTap has kicked-off its Series B round. The company has raised $5.5 million led by Avana Capital. Exiting investors – Shunwei Capital and India Quotient also participated.

Clix Capital: Small and medium enterprise-focused lending platform, Clix Capital, has raised a fresh $40 million round led by its largest stakeholder AION Capital.

MetroMedi: Online pharmacy and e-health store, MetroMedi, has raised $1.5 million in a seed round of funding from TK GP Rao.

Shubh Loans: Blue-collar focused digital lending platform, Shubh Loans, has raised $4.8 million from Omidyar Network as a part of its series A round of funding. Existing investors Saama Capital, Beenext, SRI Capital and Pravega Ventures also participated in it.

TWID: Futuristic payment app TWID has raised $1.4 million in a seed funding round from SCV LLC.

Oivi: Deeptech healthcare startup Oivi has raised $0.5 million in a pre-series A round led by Arali Ventures. Marquee angels from India also participated.

Happily Unmarried: Info Edge has invested $0.84 million in Happily Unmarried Marketing, a lifestyle brand which sells grooming products.

Fyle: Expense management startup, Fyle, has received an additional $4.5 million from US-based hedge fund Steadview Capital. Existing investors Tiger Global, Freshworks, and Pravega Ventures also participated.

Sleepycat: Online mattress selling platform Sleepycat has raised $1.56 million in its Series A funding round led by DSG Consumer Partners and the family office of Marico Group’s Harsh Mariwala, Sharrp Ventures.

MEngage: Healthtech startup MEngage has raised $0.1 million in an extended seed funding round from a clutch of investors.

Undisclosed deals this week

Social e-commerce platform CityMall, and fintech startup FinBox did not disclose their financial details on funding.
