Online pharmacy and e-health store MetroMedi has raised $1.5 million in a seed round of funding from TK GP Rao. The Hyderabad-based startup is known to deliver medicines and help patients set a reminder to refill medications automatically and recommends health foods.
At present, the one-year-old company is expanded to 8 cities including Bengaluru, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Guntur, Rajahmundry and Hyderabad. It also claims to have fulfilled more than 100,000 orders with a 99% prescription fill rate. (Source)
