Y Combinator has picked 15 Indian startups for its 2019 summer batch. This is an almost 3X increase in the number of startups selected from the country by the Silicon Valley-based accelerator. So far, it used to select 4-5 Indian startups for the bi-annual batch since 2014.
The selected startups are reportedly working in the field of consumer-focused products and software. Y Combinator, however, did not reveal the names of startups for the upcoming cohort. (Source)
