Agritech startup WayCool Foods has received a grant of $114K from Dutch Development Bank FMO. The capital would be utilized for the procurement and distribution of dual-purpose PPE kits and enablement of on-site Soil testing to farmers during Covid-19.
Founded in 2015 by Karthik Jayaraman and Sanjay Dasari, WayCool is a business-to-business startup that connects farmers and food producers with restaurants, hotels, among others. Previously, it had secured $32 million in an equity and debt funding round led by Lightbox Ventures in February 2020. (Source-PR)
