W Health Ventures has announced its second fund of $70 million focused on company creation in India’s healthcare space.

The fund will back 8–10 startups over four years through a venture studio model in partnership with 2070 Health, helping build and scale healthcare startups from the ground up.

W Health specializes in launching category-defining healthcare companies across single-specialty care and AI-led B2B healthcare services. With India's $370 billion healthcare market undergoing structural shifts, Fund II aims to fill critical white spaces by combining clinical expertise, startup infrastructure, and strategic capital.

The firm claims to have already begun deploying capital, with EverHope Oncology focused on transforming cancer care in India securing a $10 million day-zero investment led by Narayana Health.

W Health has backed startups like Wysa, BeatO, Mylo, and Reveal HealthTech through its previous fund. It competes with investors like HealthQuad, Lightrock, and Fireside Ventures in India’s healthcare VC ecosystem.
