Voice AI startup Navana.ai has raised Rs 7 crore ($800K) in a pre-Series A funding round led by Antler India, with participation from notable angel investors including Ajay Agarwal, Ronnie Screwvala, and Sandeep Singhal.

The round brings the firm's total funding to Rs 13.2 crore, following an earlier Rs 6.2 crore angel round led by Singhal (Nexus Ventures) and backed by Stanford Angel Fund, Rajan Mehra, and Saahil Goel.

The new capital will be used to strengthen R&D and scale product deployment, especially with a made-for-India language AI stack.

Founded in 2018 by Raoul and Jai Nanavati, Navana.ai has built a full-stack voice AI platform for Indian enterprises. Its offerings include a voice AI contact centre, speech recognition API, and contact centre intelligence API, with applications across multiple Indian languages.

The startup already claims to have worked with over 40 enterprise clients, including Bajaj Finserv, and supports voice bots in over 12 languages, catering to diverse customer segments from urban English speakers to rural dialect users.

With a core focus on the banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) sector, Navana.ai enables real-time voice analytics and automated contact centre solutions.
