Agritech startup Verdant Impact has raised $3 million in a seed funding round led by Unicorn India Ventures. The round also saw participation from Infynyte Club, Yash Kotak, Alok Soni and a-IDEA NAARM.

The proceeds will be used for team expansion, market penetration in North and North-East India, research and development, and improving its Pashu.AI platform. It will also upgrade its technology infrastructure with blockchain integration.

Founded by Manish Kumar, Verdant Impact builds AI-led solutions for livestock management and bovine genetics. The startup offers Pashu.AI, a platform for livestock health monitoring, genetic tracking and farm management, and Bharat Pashudhan, an IoT-enabled device for herd monitoring.

The startup claims to have served more than 6 lakh farmers and recorded 8X revenue growth since its previous funding round in March 2025. Verdant Impact plans to reach Rs 100 crore in revenue in FY26 while remaining profitable.

The startup is also working on initiatives such as the India Methane Mission, which focuses on reducing methane emissions from dairy farming and enabling carbon credit mechanisms for farmers.
