San Francisco-based AI-native video infrastructure company VideoDB has acquired Devzery, a Chennai-based software testing startup focused on AI-powered regression testing workflows, for an undisclosed amount.

The acquisition strengthens VideoDB’s developer tooling capabilities as it scales its platform across AI-driven video use cases such as surveillance, model training, and real-time media editing.

Founded in 2021, Devzery automates API regression testing through an AI agent that integrates directly with CI/CD pipelines, eliminating the need for manual test code. Its platform has been used by companies such as Cimpress, Shopflo, and Zeda.io. Devzery previously raised $125,000 from Upekkha to expand its growth and product roadmap.

VideoDB, founded in 2023, is developing the “video-as-data” stack for the agentic web, allowing developers to query, tag, and build products on live video pipelines. By integrating Devzery’s testing technology, VideoDB aims to deliver a developer-first, enterprise-ready platform with stronger reliability and faster deployment cycles.

Devzery’s founders will join VideoDB’s team. The product will remain operational under VideoDB to accelerate U.S. market expansion.
