E-commerce SaaS company Unicommerce has announced the resignation of Bhupinder Garg from the position of Chief Technical Officer (CTO). He served the company for over seven years.
In a stock exchange filing, Unicommerce said that Garg resigned due to personal reasons, with the resignation effective from April 15, 2025.
According to Unicommerce, Garg built a strong leadership team in Engineering and Product Development during his long tenure. Following his departure, Ankit Jain will lead Engineering and Rachit Srivastava will head Product Development. Both have worked alongside Garg for the past 7 years.
As per filings, Unicommerce also expressed its appreciation for the exemplary contributions made by the outgoing CTO during his 7 years with the company.
Strengthening its position in the courier aggregation space, Unicommerce approved the full acquisition of Shipway early this year.
According to data from TheKredible, Unicommerce’s revenue from operations rose to Rs 32.7 crore in the third quarter of FY25 from Rs 26 crore during the same period in the previous fiscal year. The company also reported a 61.5% year-on-year increase in profit, which stood at Rs 6.3 crore for the quarter.
Unicommerce went public in August last year.
