Edtech startup Unacademy is in advanced talks to raise $55 million led by Steadview Capital. This is likely to be Series D round where existing investors Sequoia Capital India and SAIF Partners are also going to participate. In July 2018, Unacademy raised $21 million Series C round.
Unacademy has over 30,000 paid subscribers and about 150 million monthly views via its own platform and YouTube channel. It recently launched ‘Unacademy Plus Subscription’ with live classes by top educators. (Source)
