Ride-hailing application Uber and Chetan Maini-led Sun Mobility have announced their partnership to roll out electric three-wheelers across select cities in India. As per the deal, Sun Mobility will offer its energy infrastructure platform which further will benefit Uber to buy vehicles without battery which constitutes around 40% of the total cost of an EV.
Recently, Grofers had deployed about 150 electric vehicles in Delhi and Jaipur which brought down their last-mile cost by 50%. (Source)
