Former Flipkart executive Sandeep Patil, who headed its consumer and commercial lending business, has joined Truecaller as India MD. Earlier Patil had headed Flipkart’s corporate strategy and home & furniture vertical.
Truecaller will leverage Patil’s experience as it is planning to launch institutional lending business in the country. With over 100 employees and 100 million MAU in India, Truecaller claims to generate 60-70% of global revenue from the country. (Source)
