After two months of departure of Walmart’s longtime CTO Jeremy King, the retail giant has roped in former Google’s executive Suresh Kumar as the new CTO. An IIT Madras alumnus, Kumar will be reporting directly to Walmart CEO Doug McMillon from July 8 onwards.
Prior to joining Google, Kumar had served as Corporate Vice President for Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure and Operations for over 3 years and had a 14 year-long stint at Amazon. (Source)
