Swiggy is discontinuing its digital storefront solution, Minis, with services for sellers set to end by August 10, according to a report by The Economic Times.

Launched in 2022, Minis was a zero-commission software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that allowed small businesses, creators, and professionals to set up online stores without building their own website or app. The platform enabled users to sell products, offer consultations, and host webinars.

Minis has been absent from the Swiggy app for over a year, suggesting a phased wind-down. The platform had featured categories such as home-cooked food, handmade gifts, and baking essentials.

Swiggy has experimented with multiple verticals over the years beyond its core delivery business. These include Genie (hyperlocal delivery), Snacc (rapid food delivery), Pyng (professional services marketplace), and Crew (travel and lifestyle concierge).

The Bengaluru-based company also discontinued Genie across major cities in May this year.
