Student mobility startup ZeroMoblt has raised Rs 1.5 crore in a pre-seed funding round co-led by JioMart CEO Sandeep Varaganti, Ashok Agrawal, and a group of high-net-worth individuals.

The funds will be used to accelerate development of its AI-native technology, expand operations, and build out its infrastructure roadmap, ZeroMoblt said in a press release.

Founded in April 2024 by Vijay Ganagam and Alfred Lazarus, ZeroMoblt offers a student mobility platform that integrates logistics, safety, discovery, tracking, and subscription-based services. The startup is planning expansion across major educational hubs in India, along with work on AI-driven route optimisation and compliance automation.

ZeroMoblt said it is building decentralised intelligence layers using Edge AI to support real-time safety monitoring, route optimisation, and operational resilience. The company also plans to scale campus partnerships, fleet capacity, and compliance infrastructure in cities including Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Chennai, and Mumbai.

According to the company, it has partnered with over 15 institutions and operates a compliance-focused student mobility model. It has completed 3.4 lakh student trips across 147 pincodes in Hyderabad and is currently onboarding additional institutions in the city.

ZeroMoblt said its fleet network includes more than 3,000 vehicles with full compliance coverage.
