Luxury villa and homestay rental startup StayVista has raised Rs 40 crore (approximately $4.6 million) in a Series B funding round led by JSW Ventures, with participation from existing investors DSG Consumer Partners and Capri Global Family Office.
Previously, the Mumbai-based company had raised $7.81 million from DSG Consumer Partners and others.
According to a press release, the proceeds will be used to expand into new geographies, strengthen the team, and boost supply-side services.
Founded in 2015 by Ankita Sheth, Amit Damani, and Pranav Maheshwari, StayVista connects property owners with travelers seeking vacation rentals such as villas, bungalows, cottages, and homestays. The company partners with platforms including Airbnb, MakeMyTrip, Booking.com, and Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy.
StayVista operates both B2C and B2B models. Under its B2C offerings, it provides luxury properties for rent to online users, while its B2B vertical offers maintenance services to property owners for a fee, in addition to listing charges.
