Healthtech startup Stance Health has raised $1 million in its pre-seed funding round. The funding was led by General Catalyst, a venture capital firm from Silicon Valley.
Other investors include Antler, DeVC (supported by Z47), angel investors like Sriharsha Majety and Nandan Reddy, and Onsurity co-founder Kulin Shah.
The proceeds will be used to grow its services in India, improve its tech platform, and open more physical centres in Bengaluru and other cities.
Started in 2024 by Rohit Arora and Ninad Karandikar, Stance focuses on musculoskeletal (MSK) care, which helps with pain in muscles, bones, and joints. It combines in-person care at its centres with online programs for recovery.
The Bengaluru-based startup claims to have already held over 12,000 sessions in eight months since opening its first centre. It plans to add six more centres by December and expand to another city next year.
