Reliance Industries Limited’s entry in the merchant’s point-of-sale space (POS) will help digitize 5 million stores in the next five years. With a one time deposit of Rs.3,000 merchants can get PoS device by Reliance.
The PoS device provides an option of adding in-built discounts and push offers to the entire customer database via SMS. For all debit and credit card transactions through this device within Rs. 2000, the merchant won’t pay any cost to the bank. (source)
