Pine Labs appoints Nitish Asthana as president and COO

Cloud-based unified point-of-sale (POS) platform, Pine Labs has appointed Nitish Asthana as the company’s president & Chief Operating Officer (COO). Asthana would be responsible for technology innovation and increasing digital payment acceptance among merchants across India and Southeast Asia.

Previously, Asthana was working as the Asia-Pacific head of First Data’s merchant payments business. Pine Labs had recently invested in Malaysia-based fintech firm Fave. (Source-PR)
