Pibit.AI has raised $7 million in a Series A round led by Stellaris Venture Partners, with participation from Y Combinator and Arali Ventures.

The proceeds will be used to build its Centralized Underwriting Risk Environment (CURE) and drive adoption across insurance carriers. It will also expand its product and engineering teams to support growth over the next year.

Founded in 2020 by Akash Agarwal, Pibit.AI builds trusted AI systems for underwriting. The firm focuses on improving speed, accuracy, and decision-making for underwriters who still spend significant time on manual tasks and data collection. Their goal is to reduce operational load while giving underwriting teams reliable, transparent outputs.

CURE is a single system that manages the end-to-end underwriting workflow. It handles submissions, document parsing, research, risk signals, and task coordination. ClearCURE manages triage, DocumentCURE handles document intelligence, ResearchCURE supports real-time enrichment, RiskCURE assesses accounts, and WorkflowCURE centralizes tasks and collaboration.

The company works with customers across markets and is focused on bringing consistency and trust to underwriting teams that deal with rising submission volumes and limited specialist capacity.
