Gamepind, a joint venture between two Alibaba-backed companies – Paytm (One97 Communications) and AGTech Holdings – has been rebranded as FirstGames.
Within 16 months of launch, Gamepind claims to have over 30 million registered users and it is clocking monthly GMV run rate of Rs 20 crore. Further, it aims to clock a GMV of Rs 28-35 crore during the world cup. Paytm and AGTech had put in $16 million in Gamepind and it’s planning to raise another $30 million. (Source)
