Nourish You raises Rs 16 Cr led by SIDBI Venture

Superfood brand Nourish You has raised Rs 16 crore (around $1.84 million) in its Series A round led by SIDBI Venture Capital.  

In 2023, Nourish You raised $2 million in its seed funding round from several individual investors, including Y Janardhana Rao, Rohit Chennamaneni, and Nikhil Kamath. In the same year, the company also acquired the vegan dairy brand One Good for an undisclosed amount. 

Co-founded in 2015 by Sowmya Reddy, Krishna Reddy, and Rakesh Kilaru, Nourish You offers superfoods such as quinoa and chia seeds to Indian consumers. According to its website, it manages 5,000 acres of Quinoa and Chia farms across Rajasthan, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh.

The company exports its portfolio spanning quinoa, chia, millets, edible seeds (flax, pumpkin, sunflower, and watermelon), and breakfast cereals (muesli and fills) to countries including Singapore, Nepal, Kenya, Dubai, Mongolia, and Maldives.

Nourish You products are available on its website and leading e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, and BigBasket, among others. 

It competes with True Elements, Slurrp Farms and Jiwa among several others.
