Michezo Sports, a Bengaluru-based sports infrastructure startup, has raised $2.5 million in its pre-Series A round led by Centre Court Capital, with participation from Rainmatter, Zerodha’s investment arm.

With fresh capital, Michezo plans forays into new segments, including swimming pools and civil sporting infrastructure, and aims to boost its distribution platform for sports equipment and materials.

The startup is also looking at public-private partnerships to help state governments create accessible, high-quality facilities for communities, aligning with India’s ambitious sporting goals.

Founded in 2019, Michezo provides turnkey solutions including design, build, and maintain for a variety of sporting facilities. The company claims to have completed 350 projects such as athletic tracks, football and hockey turfs, and courts for badminton, squash, and more.

Michezo states it follows global standards from organizations like FIFA and FIH, serving clients ranging from schools and universities to clubs and real estate developers.
