Gaming platform Paytm First Games has secured $20 million in a funding round from AGTech and One97 Communications. First Games is a joint venture between the two Alibaba-backed companies. It would deploy the fresh proceeds to scale its operations, invest in technology and strengthen the userbase through various marketing activities.
Formerly known as Gamepind, it was rechristened as First Games in June this year. Within 20 months of its launch, it claims to have over 35 million registered users on the platform. (Source)
