The Madras High Court on Friday dismissed a PIL petition filed by an auto driver against online cab services Ola and Uber.
The petitioner said due to the competitive pricing by the above companies, auto-rickshaw drivers livelihood are threatened. The court refused to act on the case saying there is no case of overcharging the customers and the competitive rates would ultimately benefit the passengers. (Source)
