Home care products maker Happi Planet has raised $2 million (about Rs 18 crore) in a funding round led by Fireside Ventures and Prath Ventures.

The round marks Happi Planet’s first institutional fundraise. Prior to this, the startup was funded through internal capital and small early-stage investments.

The proceeds will be used to expand its product range, increase distribution, scale operations, and add talent across functions.

Founded in 2021 and based in Mumbai, Happi Planet manufactures and sells home-care products. Its portfolio includes laundry liquids, dishwashing liquids, floor cleaners, and surface cleaners.

It sells through D2C channels, online marketplaces, and select offline stores. It targets urban households and aims to grow its presence across more cities and retail touchpoints.

Happi Planet competes with established and emerging home-care brands such as Neynto, Beco, The Better Home, Godrej Consumer Products, HUL, and ITC depending on the sub-category.
