GreenTech, a tech-driven and operations & maintenance company specializing in wind turbine asset management, has raised Rs 30 crore, a mix of equity and debt, in its first funding round led entirely by Transition VC.
The proceeds will be deployed to expand its global infrastructure, upgrade predictive maintenance platforms(AI/ML engines), SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) analytics platforms, and accelerate its business development initiatives across India and key international wind markets, GreenTech said in a press release.
Launched in 2018 by Daniel Raj, GreenTech is a technology-driven independent service provider delivering comprehensive O&M and asset management solutions for wind turbine fleets. Its offerings span predictive and preventive maintenance, corrective and major corrective services, full-scope O&M, SCADA modernization, blade inspection, crane-less major component replacement, and in-house repair capabilities across mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
With operations covering all major wind states in India and growing international presence in Southeast Asia, GreenTech empowers asset owners to maximize energy generation, improve reliability, and extend turbine lifespan.
The Coimbatore-based company plans to deepen its analytics engine, expand its repair and refurbishment facility into a multi-disciplinary hub (including mechanical, electrical, generator, gearbox, and electronic card repair), and scale its predictive maintenance algorithms through AI and machine learning. The company is targeting multifold increase in revenues over the next 24 months.
GreenTech claims that it manages multi-brand wind assets and supports customers across India and Asia, including Vietnam, Sri Lanka, and venturing into other markets in SEA and MENA regions. Its supply-chain ecosystem, including more than 100 suppliers, over 20 repair loops, more than 7 major component partners, and over 6000 components in inventory.
