Very soon Google Pay users in India will have the option to pay through debit or credit cards, gift cards or other mediums saved on the platform. Currently, it offers UPI payments in India but after integration of plastic cards, consumers can make payment across platforms through the Google Pay app.
The payments app will offer a single software development kit (SDK kit) for developers as well as merchants for delivering seamless payments experience to users across mediums. (Source)
