Ctrip has removed a product that described South Tibet as “Arunachal Pradesh” – an Indian state – after a backlash from Chinese netizens. The largest online travel firm in China had taken off the product after reports in Chinese media.
Meanwhile, the largest backer of MakeMyTrip promised a probe to avoid such occurrences. In Feb, the Chinese Foreign Minister said that it has never recognized Arunachal Pradesh as a part of India. (Source)
