Flipkart appoints new VPs for Supply Chain and Corporate Communications

E-commerce giant Flipkart has appointed Somnath Das as Vice President, Supply Chain, and Digbijay Mishra as Vice President, Corporate Communications.

The appointments come as the company strengthens its senior leadership across operational and strategic functions.

Somnath Das will lead supply chain operations for Flipkart’s large business segment, focusing on network efficiency and technology-led supply chain capabilities. He brings over two decades of experience across the CPG, retail, and food and beverage sectors.

Prior to joining Flipkart, he served as Senior Vice President at Jubilant FoodWorks and held leadership roles at Reliance Retail (Grocery), Nivea India, Marico, and PepsiCo India.

Digbijay Mishra will lead Corporate Communications for the Flipkart Group and oversee integrated communications and stakeholder engagement. He was previously Deputy Bureau Chief (Startups) at The Economic Times and most recently founded Ringsight Advisory.

The Flipkart Group includes entities such as Myntra, Flipkart Wholesale, Cleartrip, and super.money. The company has over 500 million registered users and more than 1.4 million sellers on its marketplace.
