Event marketing platform Samaaro has raised 500,000 dollars in a pre Series A funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures, with participation from Silver Needle Ventures, Lets Venture, SucSEED Indovation Fund, Sagar Narola, Suryansh Jalan, and Gautam Kumar.
The Bengaluru based company had earlier raised 500K dollars in a seed round from SucSEED, Silver Needle, and The Chennai Angels. The fresh funds will be used to strengthen its brand presence in India and the Middle East and to acquire mid and enterprise level clients, Samaaro said in a press release.
Founded in 2020 by Purnank Prakash and Mayank Banka, Samaaro is an AI powered SaaS platform that helps enterprises convert events into revenue. It combines attendee management, lead scoring, analytics, CRM integration, and marketing tools into a single stack, enabling brands to target audiences, run campaigns, streamline operations, and measure ROI.
According to market research, the global event marketing segment is valued at 10 billion dollars and is projected to reach 24 billion dollars by 2029.
Samaaro counts ICICI Lombard, Modon Properties, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Varun Beverages, and Apex Group among its clients, and serves customers across India, the Middle East, and North America.
