D2C brand Indian Snack House has raised Rs 2.2 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by Titan Capital.

The fresh funds will be utilized for expansion to more cities & online platforms, and grow its product range, Indian Snack House said in a press release.

Co-founded in 2023 by Rajakumaran and Anbarasan,  Indian Snack House is a clean-label snack brand that aims to take authentic South Indian sweets and snacks to homes across India and the world. From treats like Tirunelveli Halwa and Srivilliputhur Palkova to other products like Tuticorin Macaroons and Nagercoil Banana Chips, the brand brings  recipes made without palm oil, preservatives, or artificial colors.

The Chennai-based startup says that it focuses on authenticity, quality, and accessibility, and aspires to build the go-to brand for South India’s rich snacking heritage. The brand plans to add popular snacks from Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.

Indian Snack House operates as an e-commerce business, delivering snacks directly to customers. It offers genuine Indian snacks, sourced from various regions and prepared using traditional methods. The brand caters to a wide audience, including families and individuals looking for healthy and tasty snacking options, especially for children

Since inception, Indian Snack House claims that it has seen a growing customer base and strong demand, and currently shipping over 1,00,000 packets every month.
