Home and lifestyle direct-to-consumer D2C brand Haus & Kinder has raised 3.3 million dollars (Rs 30 crore) in a funding round led by Sauce VC, along with participation from angel investors including XYXX founder Yogesh Kabra, Sangeet Agrawal, Navin Parwal, and the Chona Family.
The Mumbai-based company had previously raised 3.96 million dollars from Dev Patel and others.
The fresh funds will be used to expand its presence in quick commerce, Haus & Kinder said in a press release.
Co-founded in 2018 by Saket Dhankar and Kanupriya Anand, Haus & Kinder is a direct-to-consumer brand that sells home decor and baby products such as bedding, curtains, and swaddles, targeting millennial moms with modern, affordable, and high-quality cotton items. The company operates through its website, online marketplaces including Amazon and Flipkart, and quick commerce platforms.
The company’s products include home textiles such as bed sheets, curtains, cushion covers, and blankets, baby essentials including swaddles, blankets, nesting bags, and feeding pillows, along with other home decor items. The brand also offers a signature line of ringspun cotton products.
“Consumers are upgrading their houses much faster now. We are seeing a shift in consumer behaviour towards global trends in home decor,” said Saket Dhankar, co-founder and CEO of Haus & Kinder.
Other notable players in this space include Nestasia, 10Club, Homecentre, IKEA, and Tata-owned Westside.
