Chanakya Opportunities Fund has invested in Sadbhav Future Tech’s Rs 36 crore ($4.19 million) pre-IPO funding round. 

This move is part of Chanakya’s growing interest in the renewable energy space. So far, the fund has invested about Rs 18 crore in this sector.

Led by Bhupender Singh, Nilesh Jain, and Saikat Roy, the company (which company) uses modern solar technology to make clean energy more efficient and widely available.

Since starting in 2020, Sadbhav Future Tech claims to have installed over 50,000 solar pumps and provides both rooftop and large-scale solar systems. It aims to improve the lives of 1 million farmers in the next 10 years.

Sadbhav Future Tech supports the PM-KUSUM scheme, a government plan that helps farmers get clean energy, reduce diesel use, and increase income. Sadbhav works across many Indian states, such as Maharashtra, Assam, and Rajasthan.
