Gurugram-based online platforms for selling used cars, Cars24 has received a legal notice from a clutch of landlords for alleged defaults of rent before the end of the contract. Since the Sequoia-backed firm has been finding difficulty in raising a larger round, it shut down various stores in NCR region.
Of late, the firm was recently in news for laying off over 500 employees. So far, it had raised over $100 million risk capital. It operates via 150 stores in 35 cities. (Source)
